Ginkgo arch

For my dear friend Claudia, who adores Ginkgos, I made this Gothic arch in a special shape. Someday she wants to bind it with a lot of other arches and make a little book. The Ginkgo rubber stamps are by Beeswax, the dots by CherryPie and the Goethe poem by Stempelmine (Flyer 57). For the background I used Adirondack stamp pads Lettuce and Butterscotch, for the marks different Versafine pads. Für meine liebe Freundin Claudia, die Ginkgos über alles liebt, habe ich diesen Gotikbogen in einer speziellen Form gestaltet. Irgendwann möchte sie sich zusammen mit anderen Bögen ein kleines Buch binden. Die Ginkgo-Stempel sind von Beeswax, die Punkte von CherryPie und das Goethe-Gedicht von der Stempelmine (Flyer 57). Für den Hintergrund habe ich Adirondack-Kissen in Lettuce und Butterscotch verwendet und für die Abdrücke verschiedene Versafine-Kissen.

Shabby Gothic arch

For a swap in one of my groups I made this Gotic arch and tried to do it a bit "shabby", because the recipient Ariane loves this style. For the background I used my first 2 Walnut inks "rose" and "tea stain", also 2 Acrylic Paint Dabbers and the stamps are by Green Pepper Press, Hero Arts and ??? - unfortunately I don't know, from which company this beautiful little swirl is, that I love so much. Für einen Tausch in einer meiner Gruppe habe ich diesen Gotikbogen gemacht und hab versucht, ihn ein bisschen "schäbig" aussehen zu lassen, weil die Empfängerin Ariane diesen Stil liebt. Für den Hintergrund habe ich meine ersten beiden Walnuss-Tinten "rose" und "tea stain" verwendet, dazu 2 Acrylic Paint Dabbers und die Stempel sind von Green Pepper Press, Hero Arts und ??? - leider weiss ich nicht, von welcher Firma dieser hübsche kleine Kringel ist, den ich so sehr liebe.

MAP Houses

Last month I hosted another MAP with the topic "houses" in a further Yahoo group. We had to use shapes of houses for the creation of our ATCs. First I only wanted to host the MAP, but I have been inspired by all the wonderful art works of the others and used a night during my holidays to create my street of houses. It was great fun. Letzten Monat habe ich auch noch ein anderes MAP zum Thema "Häuser" in einer weiteren Yahoo-Gruppe betreut. Wir sollten für die ATCs Formen von Häusern verwenden. Zuerst wollte ich das MAP nur veranstalten, aber ich wurde total angesteckt von den wunderschönen Kunstwerk der anderen und habe eine Nacht in meinem Urlaub genutzt, meine Strasse der Häuser zu kreieren. Hat Spass gemacht.

Flowery gothic arch

Yesterday I decided to do a Gothic arch again. I love this shape, but didn't use it for a longer time. The turquoise background is done with paintbox colors, the light green swirl is from my new Mini SeeD's set, the flower (I probably never used before) is by Flamingo Art and both stamped with the great Acrylic Paint Dabbers. The writing is by Lost Coast Design and stamped with Ancient page. On top I smeared some more acryl paint to give it a little bit of the shabby chick. The big fabric flowers and the small light blue one's (thanks Claudi) are also new and used for the first time. Gestern habe ich mich entschieden, mal wieder einen Gotikbogen zu stempeln. Ich liebe diese Form, aber habe sie schon lange nicht genutzt. Der türkise Hintergrund ist mit normalem Farbkasten gemacht, der hellgrüne Kringel ist von meinem neuen Mini SeeD's Set, die Blume (möglicherweise nie zuvor benutzt) ist von Flamingo Art und beide sind mit den genialen Acrylic Paint Dabbers gestempelt. Die Schrift ist von Lost Coast Design und mit Ancient Page gestempelt. Obendrauf habe ich noch etwas Acrylfarbe verschmiert, um dem Ganzen etwas von diesem schäbigen Chick zu geben. Die großen Stoffblüten und die kleinen hellblauen (danke Claudi) sind auch neu und hab ich zum ersten Mal benutzt.
