Yes, turquoise again. ;) I LOVE it so much… in every color shade. This ATCs I made for a swap with the topic "My favourite color" and of course I had not to noodle over my choice. ;) The left one I made multiple, I guess 8 or 9 pieces. So I used them also for a MAP with the topic "Turquoise" in one of my groups - no question, who suggested that topic. ;) Ja, wieder türkis. Ich liebe es total… in jeder Farbschattierung. Diese ATCs habe ich für einen Tausch mit dem Thema "Meine Lieblingsfarbe" gemacht und natürlich musste ich über meine Wahl nicht nachdenken. ;) Das linke habe ich mehrfach gemacht, ich schätze 8 oder 9 Stück. So habe ich sie auch als MAP-Beitrag für das Thema "Türkis" in einer meiner Gruppen genutzt - keine Frage, wer das Thema vorgeschlagen hat. ;)
and I love knitting and I love to knit scarfs. :) Okay, I started knitting scarfs a month ago, but it's almost my third one... and the first I did for me. Great "wool", I had 5 balls, each 50 g - and started Sunday afternoon and knitted one ball every evening... ready!!! The scarf is about 2 meters long... looking forward to wear it in cold winter days. Ich liebe türkis und ich liebe Stricken und ich liebe es, Schals zu stricken. :) Okay, ich habe mit dem Schalstricken erst vor einem Monat begonnen, aber es ist schon mein dritter... und der erste für mich. Geniale "Wolle", ich hatte 5 Knäuel, je 50g - und ich habe Sonntag Nachmittag begonnen und jeden Abend ein Knäuel verstrickt... fertig!!! Der Schal ist über 2 Meter lang... freu mich schon drauf, wenn ich in an kalten Wintertagen tragen kann.
And on Saturday I've been at the wool store with my dear friend Vlasta and this balls wanted to be with me... the above for another scarf and one ball for socks. Just one! ;) Und am Samstag war ich mit meiner lieben Freundin Vlasta im Wollladen und diese Knäuel wollten mit zu mir kommen... die oberen für einen weiteren Schal und ein Knäuel für Socken. Nur einer! ;)

Grün und rosa ist das Thema des aktuellen Tag-Tauschs in einer meiner Stempelgruppen. Ich liebe altrosa in Kombination mit einem dezenten grün, die auch die Hauptfarben in meinem Kreativreich und der Dekoration darin sind.
After a week of sunny summer weather and a lot of festivals and activities with friends in the evenings, I finally found some (less) time to stamp again. Yes, I stamped my first cute card. But never fear: I am still a non-cute stamper. Nevertheless I must confess, that I really like the nice Sarah Key stamps - childhood memories become awake. And exactly that has been the topic of a card exchange in one of my groups. So I used that stamp for the first time and tried to colore it as good as possible. I am suited. ;) Nach einer Woche mit Sommer-Sonnen-Wetter und einer Menge an abendlichen Festen und Aktivitäten mit Freunden hab ich auch noch (etwas) Zeit zum Stempeln gefunden. Ja, ich habe meine erste niedliche Karte gestempelt. Aber keine Sorge: ich bin immer noch ein Nicht-niedlich-Stempler. Trotzdem muss ich zugeben, dass ich die Sarah Key-Stempel wirklich mag - da werden Kindheitserinnerungen wach. Und genau das war das Thema eines Kartentauschs in einer meiner Gruppen. Also habe ich den Stempel zum ersten Mal benutzt und versucht, ihn so gut wie möglich zu colorieren. Bin zufrieden. ;)
... I knitted within 4 days for my friend Belinda. Her niece will also have her first day at school soon and she loved the idea with the pink scarf (almost every little girl loves PINK). The wool has been Brazilia Fantasy, I used 2 different balls (50g each), a dark pink and a mixed pink, that made an interesting effect. Was fun... and the next one is already in progress. :) Meinen zweiten Schal hab ich innerhalb von 4 Tagen für meine Freundin Belinda gestrickt. Ihre Nichte wird auch bald in die Schule kommen und ihr gefiel die Idee mit dem pinken Schal (fast jedes kleine Mädchen liebt PINK). Die Wolle ist eine Brazilia Fantasy, ich habe 2 verschiedene Knäuel (je 50g) verwendet, ein dunkles Pink und ein gemischt-rosafarbenes, das ergab einen interessanten Effekt. Hat Spass gemacht... und der nächste ist schon in Arbeit. :)
This week the topic at Wednesdaystampers is Paisley. I love that pattern so much! So I like to show first some for me a bit "untypical" and quick cards that I made with the great background paisley stamp by Stamp Camp and colored with different stamp pads using little sponges. I hope, I will find some more time to make something else, but at the moment we have our annual festival week in town with beer tent, exhibitions and big party around... so I am spending more time outside than in my hobby room. ;) But hey, it's summer time! :)
Diese Woche heißt das Thema "Paisley" bei den Mittwochstemplern. Ich liebe dieses Muster total (deshalb hatte ich das Thema ja auch vorgeschlagen)! Also möchte ich zuerst ein paar für mich "untypische" schnelle Karten zeigen, die ich mit dem genialen Hintergrund-Stempel von Stamp Camp gemacht habe. Coloriert habe ich mit Schwämmchen und verschiedenen Stempelkissen. Ich hoffe, ich werde noch etwas Zeit haben, etwas anderes zu werkeln, aber zur Zeit haben wir unsere jährliche Festwoche in der Stadt mit Bierzelt, Ausstellung und viel Party drumherum... daher verbringe ich mehr Zeit draußen als in meinem Hobbyraum. ;) Aber hey, es ist Sommer! :)
These pretty nice things I received by my dear friends Ariane and Claudia - the case is a selfmade one, really cool and the card fit's perfect ;)). And I love the little booklet, it is wonderful for notes. But I really don't know, if I can risk to use this nice things, I don't want to corrupt anything. Diese wunderschönen Sachen habe ich von meinen lieben Freundinnen Ariane und Claudia bekommen - die Tasche ist selbstgemacht, richtig cool und die Karte paßt perfekt. ;)) Und ich liebe dieses kleine Büchlein, wunderbar für Notizen. Aber ich weiß wirklich nicht, ob ich es riskieren sollte, beides zu benutzen, will nix kaputt machen.
Last weekend, when I was home, I received a lot of new material for my needlework hobbies. GREAT!!! :) First I went on Saturday in a shopping center to buy rapid a little toy and right opposite has been - by accident - a quilt- and wool shop. I had only a view minutes, because we were on the way to the enrollment party, but enough time to buy at least one piece of fabric and some ribbon-wool. Letzte Woche, als ich in meiner Heimat war, habe ich eine Menge neues Material für meine Handarbeitshobbies bekommen. SUPER!!! :) Zuerst bin ich Samstag in ein Einkaufs-Center, um noch ein kleines Spielzeug zu kaufen und genau gegenüber war - zufälligerweise - ein Quilt- und Wollladen. Hatte nur ein paar Minuten, weil wir auf dem Weg zur Schulanfangs-Party waren, aber so viel Zeit musste sein, um wenigstens ein Stück Stoff und ein paar Knäuel Bändchenwolle zu kaufen.
On Monday I went with my mom to a wholesale store of sewing and knitting stuff - and went out with some wool for socks, scarf or just as embellishment. Bought my first felt wool, too - and a set of patchwork templates. Later at home, I got the not new, but very seldom used sewing machine from my mom (she still prefers her aged one) - hope, the machine will run pretty well. Have been very glad about this new baby! In the afternoon I just dropped by my grandmother and in spite of her 90 years she were looking for some material scraps and found some lace and some buttons for me. And in the evening I had dinner with my aunt and my cousins and her men and kids - and received all this great knitting books by my late uncle. So I got a lot new inspirations and I am looking forward to use and to try out.
Am Montag bin ich mit meiner Mutti in einen Großhandel für Näh- und Strickwaren gefahren - und kam mit etwas Socken-, Schal- und reiner Bastelwolle heraus. Und habe meine erste Filzwolle gekauft sowie ein Set mit Patchwork-Schablonen. Später bekomen ich daheim die nicht neue, aber sehr selten benutzte Nähmaschine von meiner Mutti (sie bevorzugt ihre steinalte) - hoffe, das Maschinchen läuft gut. War total happy über das neue Baby! Am Nachmittag schaute ich noch kurz bei meiner Oma vorbei und trotz ihrer 90 Jahre liess sie es sich nicht nehmen, nach etwas Materialabfall für mich zu suchen und fand ein paar Spitzen und Borden und einige Knöpfe. Und am Abend war ich dann zum Essen bei meiner Tante und meinen Cousinen mit ihren Männern und Kindern - und habe all die tollen Strickbücher meines kürzlich verstorbenen Onkels bekommen. So habe ich jetzt wieder jede Menge neuer Anregungen und freu mich drauf, alles zu verwenden und auszuprobieren.
... has Anna Lena today, the little daughter of my cousin. So I made a simple, but pretty in pink card fitting the other gifts - and knitted the first scarf since I've been a child. It's not perfect, the wool was not easy to knit, but I loved it... hopefully she will love it, too. ;) Schulanfang hat heute Anna Lena, die kleine Tocher meiner Cousine. Also habe ich diese einfache, aber wahnsinnig pinke Karte passend zu den anderen Geschenken gemacht - und den ersten Schal seit Kindertagen gestrickt. Er ist nicht perfekt, die Wolle liess sich nicht so leicht stricken, aber sie hat mir super gefallen... hoffentlich mag sie ihn auch.

... I ordered together with the other girls from the sewing weekend. I received 2 pretty pretty large and another small parcel last week with all the things for 10 "infected" people. That are my takes (not all shown ;)! Etwas mehr Näh-Zeugs habe ich zusammen mit den anderen Mädels vom Näh-Wochenende bestellt. Ich bekam letzte Woche 2 wirklich riesige und ein kleineres Paket mit all den ganzen Dingen für 10 "Infizierte". Das ist meine Beute (nicht alles gezeigt ;)!
For a swap and a MAP I had to made fabric ATC... I guess, that are almost my first. So they are not perfect, but I am satisfied - has been great fun to work with the sewing machine and to play around with the skills we learned 2 weeks ago. Für einen Tausch und ein MAP hatte ich Stoff-ATCs zu machen... Ich glaube, dass sind meine ersten. Sie sind nicht perfekt, aber ich bin zufrieden - hat großen Spass gemacht, mit der Nähmaschine zu werkeln und mit den Kenntnissen von vor 2 Wochen herumzuspielen.
