End-of-the-year review

It has been a really amazing creative year: I learned to knit socks - and now I love knitting sooo much, I started to sew and used more colors in my art work. I bought a lot of wool and fabrics - great! Finally I also started to color and use some cute stamps. In total I wrote 175 blog entries in 2009. Thanks to everybody that left nice comments - it's great how the blogging unite creative people all over the world! Hope to meet and read you here again in 2010. Es war ein wirklich tolles kreatives Jahr: ich habe das Sockenstricken gelernt - und jetzt liebe ich das Stricken sooooo sehr, ich habe mit dem Nähen begonnen und habe mehr Farbe in meinen Werken verwendet. Ich habe ne Menge Wolle und Stoffe gekauft - genial! Schließlich habe ich auch noch begonnen, ein paar niedliche Stempelmotive zu colorieren und zu verwenden. 2009 habe ich insgesamt 175 Blogeinträge geschrieben. Danke an alle, die mir so nette Kommentare hinterlassen haben - es ist großartig, wie das Bloggen kreative Menschen überall auf der Welt zusammen führt. Hoffe, euch hier in 2010 wieder zu treffen und zu lesen.

Supplement from November

In one of my groups there was a project to send some material to an other stamper and she has to make a card by using the material. This card is done by Karen - absolutely wonderful... and here is the material I sent. I really loved that kind of swap and hope for a similar one in 2010. Nachtrag aus dem November - In einer meiner Gruppen hatten wir ein Projekt, wo man einer anderen Stemplerin etwas Material schickt und sie daraus dann eine Karte gestaltet. Diese Karte hat Karen für mich gemacht - traumhaft schön... und hier ist das Material, das ich gesendet habe. Das war wirklich ein toller Tausch und ich hoffe auf einen ähnlichen in 2010.

The frog

Because my dad loves funny frogs (and my cats), I made this special birthday card for him. Weil mein Vati lustige Frösche mag (und meine Katzen), habe ich diese spezielle Geburtstagskarte für ihn gemacht.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I won...

I am so happy... even now I've seen the message, that I won the new plate by Michelle Ward. I am really lucky - oh well, great! Ich bin so happy... grad eben hab ich erst die Nachricht gesehen, dass ich die neue Platte von Michelle Ward gewonnen habe. Ich bin sooooo glücklich - einfach genial!

Scarf number 5

This scarf has been a Christmas present for my friend Claudi and is my fifth and last for this year. I still can't believe, that 2009 became the "year of knitting" to me. I really love that mixed wool and Claudi loves the scarf (luckily). The photo I took from her with the scarf she unfortunately restricted to publish. ;) Diesen Schal habe ich als Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Freundin Claudi gestrickt und es ist der fünfte und letzte für dieses Jahr. Ich kann's noch immer nicht glauben, dass 2009 für mich zum "Jahr des Strickens" geworden ist. Ich liebe diese gemischte Wolle und Claudi liebt den Schal (glücklicherweise). Das Foto, das ich von ihr mit dem Schal gemacht habe, hat sie leider verboten zu zeigen. ;)

Christmas cards2009 and new fabrics

This are the Christmas cards that I received this year. It's a really wonderful mixture of different styles and a great pleasure to see them every day. Thanks to everybody!!! Das sind meine Weihnachtskarten, die ich in diesem Jahr bekommen habe. Es ist eine wirklich wunderschöne Mischung verschiedener Stile und eine große Freude, sie jeden Tag anzuschauen. Danke an alle!!!Besides on Christmas eve (24.) I received my last envelope of fabrics by eQuilter for that year - what a great timing. Außerdem hab ich an Weihnachten (24.) noch den letzten Umschlag für dieses Jahr mit Stoffen von eQuilter erhalten - geniales Timing.

ATC on artist's board

This small artist's board I decorated recently with an ATC for a secret Santa in one of my groups. Diese kleine Malpappe habe ich mit einem ATC für ein Wichteln in einer meiner Gruppen vor kurzem gemacht.

Cute again

I am trying and learing... it's really not that easy for me to create cards in a cute style, but that I really like. Ich versuch's und lerne... es ist wirklich nicht so einfach für mich, Karten im Niedlich-Stil zu machen, aber diese mag ich sehr.

X-mas cards part 3 - cute one's

Oh yes, I really tried to make also some cute X-mas cards. I colored a lot of them, I had the chance to take some cute stamps from my dear friend Vlasta recently. But only finished some less. But next X-mas will come, I am quiet sure. :) Aber ja, ich habe es wirklich versucht, auch ein paar niedliche Weihnachtskarten zu machen. Ich habe ne Menge Abdrücke von meiner lieben Freundin Vlasta bekommen und coloriert, aber fertig gemacht nur wenige. Aber das nächste Weihnachten kommt bestimmt, bin mir ziemlich sicher. :)

Zetti goes X-mas

In one of my group we had the topic "Zetti goes Xmas" and that is my not really too strange Christmas card with at least one Zettiology stamp. I love the combination of green and red. In einer meiner Gruppen hatten wir jetzt das Thema "Zetti macht auf Weihnachten" (frei übersetzt ;)) und das ist meine nicht zu verrückte Weihnachtskarte mit mindestestens einem Zettiology-Stempel. Ich liebe die Kombination von grün und rot.

Zetti goes birthday

This belated birthday card is for a Zetti fan and colored again. Can't take away my NeocolorII chalks at the moment. Diese verspätete Geburtstagskarte habe ich für einen Zetti-Fan gemacht und wieder coloriert. Kann momentan meine NeocolorII-Kreiden nicht beiseite legen.

X-mas cards part 1

This year I already made 26 Christmas cards, but that are only some examples to show. I love to use one of my latest Snowman stamps and some "X-mas untypical" colors. Dieses Jahr hab ich schon 26 Weihnachtskarten gemacht, aber das sind hier nur ein paar Beispiele. Ich hab total gern einen meiner neuen Schneemannstempel genutzt und eher "weihnachtsuntypische" Farben.

Paper in wonderful colors

Two weeks ago I had the chance to have a look into the latest Stam*pin'Up catalogue and I found paper in wonderful colors, fitting ribbons and a really cool white stamping pad, that made great results. Zwei Wochen ist es her, dass ich in einen Stam*pin'Up-Katalog schauen konnte und ich habe dort Papier in wunderschönen Farben gefunden, passende Bänder und ein richtig cooles weißes Stempelkissen, das tolle Ergebnisse geliefert hat.

Collage on artist's board

This collage I made for my dear friend Ariane some days ago using one of my favourite stamps (Stampers Anonymous) and colored it with NeocolorII chalks. Diese Collage auf Malpappe habe ich vor ein paar Tagen für meine liebe Freundin Ariane gemacht und dabei einen meiner Lieblingsstempel (Stampers Anonymous) verwendet und mit NeocolorII-Kreiden coloriert.

Wow... the customs

... really thought they had to see me. ;) But finally they had to accept, that this small pieces of fabrics are not worth to handle, really strange situation. It has been the first time. But the pleasure about the new fabrics prevails. Wow... der Zoll war wirklich der Meinung, mich sehen zu müssen. ;) Aber letztendlich mussten sie akzeptieren, dass diese kleinen Stoffstücke es nicht wert sind, in irgend einer Weise gehandhabt zu werden, eine verrückte Situation. War das erste Mal. Aber die Freude über den neuen Stoff überwiegt natürlich.

Oasis of stamps... Stempeloase

It has been pretty cool to use the remaining days of vacation also for a trip to the stamping shop "Stempeloase" in Munich - of course together with my dear friend Claudia. This are my Christmas presents for myself. ;) Especially the punchs I really love and I need them to make some really cool flowers, that I learned the week before. Besides I am doing Christmas cards and some presents... sometime I will also show them here. ;) Es ist richtig cool, die Resturlaubstage auch für einen Ausflug in die "Stempeloase" in München zu nutzen - natürlich zusammen mit meiner lieben Freundin Claudia. Das sind meine Weihnachtsgeschenke für mich selbst. ;) Besonders die Stanzer liebe ich total und ich brauche sie für richtig tolle Blüten, die ich am vergangenen Wochenende lernen durfte. Ansonsten werkel ich gerade fleissig an der Weihnachtspost und an ein paar Geschenken... irgendwann gibts das auch hier zu sehen. :)

Pair number 14 - Big foot

Yesterday I finished knitting this pair of big big socks for the husband of my stamping friend Sarah - I am sure, he will like them. They are in size 49 - wow, what a challange! In comparison I made a picture with my for women regular sock size 38. Now the Winter and frozen mud can come.Gestern habe ich das Paar wirklich großer Socken für den Mann meiner Stempelfreundin Sarah fertig gestrickt - bin mir sicher, dass er sie mögen wird. Sie sind in Größe 49 - wow, was für eine Herausforderung! Zum Vergleich hab ich ein Foto mit meiner für Frauen normalen Sockengröße 38 gemacht. Nun können der Winter und Matsch ruhig kommen. ;)

A lot of room

Almost 3 weeks ago a friend has been so kind to satisfy my long-lasting wish for some shelves in two wardrobes, that I already bought 1,5 years ago. Unfortunately someone always failed before... I am really thankful for the help and that he did it like a duck takes to water. Really a great pleasure! It has been fun to place in all the things and still have a lot of free space. Bereits vor 3 Wochen hat mir ein Freund einen langgehegten Wunsch nach ein paar Einlegeböden in zwei Kleiderschränken erfüllt - die hatte ich bereits vor 1,5 Jahren gekauft. Leider hat das jemand vorher nicht gepackt... Ich bin wirklich dankbar für die Hilfe und dafür, dass er es mit so einer Selbstverständlichkeit gemacht hat. Echt ne Riesenfreude! Hat Spass gemacht, alle Sachen einzuräumen und noch viel freien Platz zu haben.
